Faculty
Mr. Hector M. Escarcega, CSP, ARM, MSIH. Hector has over 28 years of General Industry & Construction Health & Safety experience as a corporate safety consultant/ trainer. He is President of Bilingual Solutions International/ Esteem Ahead Training & Seminars, providing Health & Safety Training both in English and Spanish. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) has his Master’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene and his Associate in Risk Management.
He is past President of the ASSE LA Chapter. He is an authorized OSHA trainer through OSHA Training Institute, UC San Diego and has been a past presenter for Hawaii’s Governor’s Conference.

The Fundamentals of a Workplace Safety Program will teach you “How to take the confusion and frustration out of implementing your company safety program” Whether you are a novice who has recently been assigned the duties of managing and implementing your company’s safety program or a seasoned veteran who wants to get back to basics this introductory/ basic training course is designed for you.
Participants will receive instruction and training that will allow them to return to their firms with readily applicable new skills. Ideal candidates have responsibilities that include SAFETY from firms that recognize SAFETY as a paramount function.
II-Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis

All accidents, injuries, illnesses and near miss incidents should be investigated to determine the cause(s) so that appropriate corrective (remedial) action can be taken to prevent similar events.
This interesting and informative seminar will teach participants how to promptly conduct thorough investigations and identify the root cause(s) of the event.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to fulfill the following goals and objectives.
• Prepare for an Incident/ Accident Investigation
• Employ effective investigation and interview techniques.
• Analyze accidents to identify "true" root causes.
• Describe human relations issues affecting accident reporting.
